I am from the sunny state of California ^^ I live where your salad comes from, for srs. I live in the "salad bowl capital of the world" Salinas, CA home of John Steinbeck <3 Very close to Monterey, CA which is usually my preferred answer LOL

2. How long was Tesshi your favorite before you converted to Kpop?
Honestly it's only been a year since I got into JPOP, through a friend I reacquainted with <3 ikasimashi-senpai starsbleedblack so, Arashi was my first JE band that I was introduced to, in which case MatsuJun is my favorite there. Maybe about a month (if even) later NEWS was added to my plate and at first it was YamaPi...and then immediately it went to Tegoshi ♥ buuuuuut then my mom made me watch a Korean drama (as she is where I get my heritage from) and we began to watch Boys over Flowers (korean version of Hana Yori Dango) and the man that played Yun JiHoo / Hanazawa Rui was BEAUTIFUL so I did my research and found out he was in a band... and then that started my KPOP fandom. But, despite that find it wasn't until like at the latest May of this year when the "official" statement of "I love Kim Hyung Joon more than I love Tegoshi Yuya

I do enjoy anime for the most part, though I tend to prefer their manga counter-parts MUCH better. My first anime was Sailor Moon (of course LOL like 10 years ago...omfg i'm old....) but I watched Bleach for most of the time as well as InuYasha, Vampire Knight (both seasons), Kuroshitsuji, Hellsing, i've watched Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Rurouni Kenshin, Vampire Hunter D, i LOVE Hayao Miyazaki everything he's done is great. In better news! I'm going to Las Vegas!! I leave Friday and come back on Sunday and then I'm staying in Carmel (yes...at work LOL) Sunday night for an employee party (no PAJAMA party cheat :( ) but yeah, it should be fun times. and hopefully I wont go crazy. i am so excited this isn't even funny...

this AND going to see SS501 next month... this is by far the best year of my life so far, AND no boys to complicate things, what a joyous experience.

now, if only my homework would just do itself and my capstone could just be done and i can graduate...that would be fantastic! (but...that may be asking for too much i suppose....)

I am beginning to feel that I am wearing myself out. Not a fun feeling in the least. I finally had a moment to enjoy myself though and watched Twilight on the big screen last night (my university gets movies just before they go out on DVD and we get to watch them for free) and that was really nice. I am super glad I read the book(s) before I watched the movie. It totally reminded me how much I love the books and my complete distaste of the concept of them when they initially came out. My dearest Ikasimashi-Senpai will know what I'm talking about because we both simply adore vampires, we ALWAYS have, and it was always this "taboo" thing. Now, loving vampires = totally normal/completely mainstream. While on the one hand, I am totally all for the support of some fantastic vampires... it kinda sucks to see how many people now are trying to make a profit off of it. I see so many knock off Stephanie Meyer works now it's disgusting.

True enough, as a hopeful writer, when I read her work I thought to myself, "Wow, if she can do it, I definitely can," because these were her first published pieces. But, I would do so in my own way and not ride the coattails of her work. Right now I'm in the process of downloading the soundtrack/score on itunes.

And so, I thought about fangirling, and I think I will simply just watch, laugh and enjoy what comes from the LJ Communities that I have joined. At this point in my life, I do not have the time to really devote myself to it. Granted, I will be lying should someone post some amazing pictures of Tegoshi and/or MatsuJun and I would refrain from taking them... There are some things in this world I cannot ignore. Many things actually:
1. (in reference to this post) I seriously think Vampires are real and truly exist.
2. Tegonyan and MatsuJun are too attractive to resist!

I'm keeping this list short for my own sake... but this will definitely be something to come back to.

I'm beat. Work is terrible and if it weren't for the pay and the convience of my seniority, I would have put my notice in today. I do not appreciate how I feel like I am being taken for granted there anymore. It's really upsetting and disappointing. Ugh... unemployment would be heaven right now...

So, it's another wonderful rainy day. Or rather, an appropriately rainy day. Ikasimashi and I "made" cookies ((more like decorated cookies)) for tomorrow. She brought some to cardio hula, i'm bringing some to work, it all works out. It was fun, we sang and danced to NEWS and enjoyed our time. I got home, ate dinner, fiddled with my phone. I am so super stoked on this thing. I just uploaded like all the Arashi/News/TegoMass+++ music I had on my computer to it. I also got all tech sav and created my own ring tones. Not too shabby if I do say so myself.

I have been suffering a tad from insomnia. Not cool. Unisom = lifesaver at this point. I dun know what I'm doing with myself really... pfft

In terms of tomorrow, I have no valentine and I'm genuinely happy with this. Tegonyan would be upset with that anyways >_< lol or rather, HE is my valentine and therefore I shouldn't let anyone else try to even make me think twice about this. Ikasimashi and I haven't really decided what we're doing. If it's a miracle and it stops raining, bonfire it is, but, more than likely it wont, so fangirling is probably looking good right about now. If not, then... we also threw out the idea of going up to San Jose for Kinokuniya, Daiso Japan, and Todai's (since we can fit all of TegoMass' favorite foods there)..

That's about it, I'm gonna take my sleeping pill and be done with this.
